In their collaboration under Parallel Media, their individual creative processes enter into a correlating relationship in order to create something new. Barbara Doser’s abstract moving images, which are based on video feedback material, and Hofstetter Kurt’s music, which stems from his compositional methods involving Möbius sounds and supersymmetry, prove to be, in a fundamental way, predestined to be interwoven. It is the affinity of their structure, whose genesis is based on Parallelism and Circulation.

The artistic intention of Parallel Media is to produce audiovisually synaesthetic art in order to hear moving images and see music.
