Szillit punctures time, tattooes a moment through light, constitues it as suspended time, as its abruptness. She slices pieces of time, deconstructing the flow of an event into a thousand microscopic visual moments. Particles of reality become fragments of fixed memory. Image spaces congeal into lucid visions, into remembered dreamscapes, into pure light and colour spaces, into imaginations of longing, desire, wistfulness and melancholy.    <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134233117\":false,\"134233118\":false,\"335559738\":0,\"335559739\":0}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This produces a new emotionality of the visual which goes beyond the atmospheric quality of traditional imagery and puts the viewer in a state of hallucination. Sigmund Freud described the dream work as the process of compression of fragments of experience into new visual structures.
