Elfie Semotans Arbeiten sind keinem eindeutigen Genre zuzuordnen. Selbst bei Werbeauftr\u00e4gen kreiert Semotan zeitlose Traumbilder anstatt anbiedernder Objektpr\u00e4sentationen. Die Aufnahme der <\/span>Edition<\/span><\/i> EIKON entstand 1978 in Kritzendorf und z\u00e4hlt somit zu den fr\u00fchesten Modefotografien Semotans. Die dramatische Ausleuchtung und die glamour\u00f6se Aufmachung des Models stehen im krassen Kontrast zu der nur schemenhaft wahrnehmbaren Umgebung. Der nahezu ortlose Hintergrund, bei Semotan ein integraler Bestandteil jeder Komposition, verleiht der Situation beinahe traumhaften Charakter. <\/span>
\nMit markanten Stilmitteln \u2013 die Betonung der Gestik und der scheinbaren Nicht-Inszenierung \u2013 sowie ihrer scharfen Beobachtungsgabe n\u00e4hert sich die Fotografin dem Modell und der Mode weniger mit einem Blick des puren Verkaufswillens, sondern mit Feingef\u00fchl f\u00fcr das Objekt-Subjekt-Verh\u00e4ltnis in der glitzernden Warenwelt.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
