During this transitional period, a team is being formed that will shape EIKON in the future with a keen eye, great curiosity about content, and fresh perspectives. This new beginning in terms of personnel gives us the opportunity to rethink established structures and try out new ones: you can expect more accentuated photo series, even more space for art in all its diversity, and a magazine layout that we are carefully but consistently making clearer and more reader-friendly. At the same time, we are refocusing on a central aspect of our identity: our mission to communicate \u2013 the task of making photographic practices and discourses accessible, readable, and tangible. We want to fulfil this mission with even greater attention, sensitivity, and depth in order to further sharpen the dialogue between art, theory, and the public.
